Our business strategy is really quite simple and can be defined in one word: “professionalism”. From the first time a customer hears about us either through an ad, a brochure, the internet, a yellow page ad, or sees one of our clean trucks; they will see a professional look and feel. Later, when they call to either get a quote or to book a shop-at-home appointment, a friendly and polite person who is well trained and informed about our business and pricing will greet them. When our salespeople or technicians go out to the customer’s home, they will be in a spotless vehicle, wearing a clean, well-pressed uniform. When the work is performed the workers will be clean and well dressed, will show up on time, will clean up after themselves and will be sure the customer is satisfied with the work. Finally, a thank you note will be sent along with a referral card and the customer will be called to be sure the work was done to their satisfaction.

The sales process at Home Professionals, Inc. begins when the customer calls to schedule an appointment. Our receptionist gathers the customer’s information on what type of services they would like estimated, the customers name and address and directions to the home. Appointments are scheduled between 7am and 9 pm Monday through Saturday. All phone calls are returned the next business day and most appointments are completed the week the customer calls.

When the salesperson goes out on the appointment in their Home Professionals, Inc. uniform or logo shirt, they greet the customer with a business card and professional color brochure. The salesperson listens to the customers needs and views the work to be done while taking notes. Questions are answered and the appointment ends with the customer being given the company’s ten page reference list. The salesperson tells the customer that they will receive within several days a computer generated contract with their work typed out and described and a projected installation date and a cover letter. Most estimates are mailed or delivered to the customer the same week as the appointment but during very busy periods estimates can take up to 2 weeks to get out.

The customer signs the contract provided and mails that with a 1/3 deposit in the self addressed envelope provided back to the company. Home Professionals, Inc. requires a 1/3 deposit to lock in a schedule date, 1/3 when the work begins and the balance upon completion of the job. We are currently running between 4-6 weeks out on our schedule and book projects as deposits are received in our office on a first come, first serve basis.
